Tintbionic® ALGMA

ALGMA is a methacrylated derivative of sodium alginate. Alginate is an anionic polysaccharide, which, due to its biocompatibility and biodegradability into non-toxic products, is successfully used in pharmacy, biomedicine, and tissue reconstruction. Preferably, ALGMA should be used as a mixture with other methacrylates as a component to improve the physico-biological properties of bioinks. The degree of methacrylation is determined based on 1H NMR analysis.
