CleanCure™ PNX is an aliphatic hybrid module (pentene-functionalized) engineered to produce hydrogels with a mid-range mechanical profile when formulated with the active core component, CleanCure™ CM3X. Compared to aromatic hybrid partners, PNX delivers robust final mechanical performance while providing a more compliant network structure — all while maintaining photoinitiator-free operation.

In practical applications, PNX is an excellent choice when a material is required to maintain structural integrity without reaching the highest stiffness ranges. This mechanical profile is particularly advantageous for biological models where excessive rigidity may restrict cellular behavior or limit microenvironment remodeling.
